Summer Of Fun

The summer holidays start here with our programme of events and activities for all the family to enjoy...

Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways are proud to launch the third year of 'Summer of Fun'. We pride ourselves on offering value for money for families, with most activities being provided free of charge or for a small donation.

We are working closely with a wide range of artists, crafts-people, musicians, and entertainers to provide a wide range of events - from crafts suitable for the very youngest, through family-fun days and activities such as the 'Classic Car Show' to our popular evening events featuring live music and tasty food.

There really is so much for families to see and do on both of our railways. Please read on for our 'Summer of Fun' calendar and a summary of the events. Further details are available on our Facebook page, or by phone from our main Booking Office in Porthmadog. Look for our 'Summer of Fun' banner at participating stations and on our website.

We hope to see you here this summer, and don't forget - one child travels free with each adult on our trains!
